Sonya ask Heidi where sheβs off to since itβs not school hours because she has a feeling Heidi is going to meet Gelo. Heidi tells her that sheβs going to Gabrielβs house.
Sonya tells her that theyβre trying their best to give her a proper education for a brighter future while she is going out there making friends with those kind of people. Heidi tells her that Gelo is a good person with a good heart.
Sonya reprimands her and reminds her that she rather needs a man who will give her a good life, take care of her and provide all her needs and not the one whoβs being fed by his family.
Heidi tells her that theyβre just friends but Sonya said she was once like her and if she had listened to advice she wouldnβt have ended up like this so she better listen to her or else she will send her far away. Sonyaβs sister Christina eavesdrops on them.
At the work place, Gabrielβs friend tells him that it seems Ellice has started doubting him so he suggests he tells her the truth and maybe she will forgive him. Gabriel said he has tried so many times to tell her the truth but her reactions to betrayal is bad and he doesnβt want to lose his family.
Ellice waited for Andres at a restaurant because he wanted to tell her something important about Marissaβs behavior since she have a bad feeling about it but Andres kept long so she left a card under the coffee cup and left the restaurant wondering.
Cesar visited Marissa in her office to inform her that Ellice is still investigating to find out the truth about the missing funds so their boss is contemplating getting rid of her and the boss has decided that Andres will be replaced by him Cesar to meet with Ellice rather.
The boss then calls Marissa on the phone, she explained to her exactly what Cesar just told her because Ellice is trying to find out about their organization so as soon as she gets to know the truth that will be the end of them. Marissa and Blue trail Ellice in their car. Ellice calls pinky countless times but she didnβt answer. When she got to a crossroad all her attention was on the call and by the time she noticed her breaks werenβt working anymore so she crushed her car.
Marissa who was tailing her quickly called an ambulance and cries. Blue asked Marissa why she is concerned because when Ellice dies she will easily have her revenge but Marissa said seeing Ellice dying is never part of her revenge.
Gabriel visited Ellice at the hospital, he asked the doctor about Ellice and the doctor tells him that his wife had a head injury and theyβve conducted a head scan and they will also check if she has an internal bleeding.
Marissa meets Cesar in front of the company, she confronts him for trying to k!ll the owner of the company calling him a coward. Cesar $laps her and Marissa also $lapped him back. Marissa asked if he thought it through before doing what he did since it will put their entire organization in jeopardy.
Cesar tells her that she doesnβt deserve to know his plans because he is only there to make sure their plans succeed. Marissa tells him that if Ellice dies she will remain in the company but Cesar will be cast out. They continue to argue when their boss Adelina interrupts them.
At the hospital, Lucing cries asking who could have done such an awful thing to Ellice since Marissa hasnβt even asked for forgiveness yet. Lucing asks Gabriel what his plans are and if he is planning to tell Ellice the truth. Lucing tells Gabriel to promise that he will never cheat on Ellice ever again and he will always choose her first.
At Adelinaβs office, Marissa tells her that she will take care of Ellice but Cesar is insisting the otherwise. Adelina $laps Cesar telling him that until her decision is made Cesar wonβt make another move and she agrees with Marissa since because of what he did he put the entire organization at risk. Adelina tells him that if things get out of control then Cesar will pay a high price for it as he apologizes.
Heidi tells her aunt Christina that Sonya doesnβt appreciate her friendship with Gelo, just because heβs poor. Her aunt said maybe her mom thinks she is too young to take things seriously. Heidi tells her they are just friends and her aunt said she will follow her whenever she wants to go out next time.
Carmelita come to the hospital and a crying Gabriel tells her that he canβt loose Ellice. Carmelita said heβs not going to loose her because she will pull through it. Gabriel said he has decided to tell Ellice the truth but Carmelita tells him that he should let her recover first as Gabriel cries.
Cesar punches Red because he instructed him to do a simple job for him but he has messed up, Red tells him that he only destroyed Elliceβs car breaks but he didnβt know that will happen.
Marissa arrives at the hospital crying about Elliceβs condition, she flashbacks to when she was being raped in prison, her hang out with Agatha and Ellice and also her earlier talk with Blue. Marissa pretentiously asks Gabriel how Ellice is doing. Gabriel tells her that his wife needs him and he doesnβt think he can be there for Jacob for a while.
Marissa agrees so Gabriel said as soon as Ellice recovers he will tell her the truth. Marissa asked what if Ellice decides to leave him and Gabriel said he will convinced her that thereβs nothing going on between them except for one night which was a big mistake.
Marrissa said she respects his decision if only itβs the best as they hug. Right then, Ellice wakes from her Coma only to see Gabriel and Marissa hugging. Gabriel noticed that Ellice was awake so goes to her ward and kissed her as Marissa looks frustrated.
Marissa soliloquies about whether Ellice will be able to forgive Gabriel if she recovers and if their l*ve for each other will grow stronger or sheβll cast him aside. Gabriel went out of the ward for Marissa to be with Ellice.
She thanks Marissa for coming and Marissa said she was worried about her because sheβs her best friend and Ellice ask if she is really worried because she is fine now and asked Marissa to take care of the company.
Marissa said she shouldnβt worry herself because sheβs will take care of everything. Before Marissa could go out, Ellice holds her and thanks her for being a great and reliable friend.

Pinky and the inspector visited Ellice at the hospital, the inspector said that there was a technical fault with Elliceβs car so they canβt conclude that someone indeed sabotaged her car.
At home, Carmelita tells Ramon that sheβs glad Ellice is conscious now but Ramon said Ellice should have died so that Marissa and Gabriel would have a better chance of being together. Carmelita asked why he would say such a thing. Ramon tells her to relax because he wasnβt too serious.
Carmelita asks Ramon if he wished the same for her when he had a mistress but if Ellice had died his son could have also lost his zeal to carryon so he should never compare himself to Gabriel. Ramon asked why she is being so sensitive since he was only joking as he left.

Ellice tells her that she is not at fault so she shouldnβt blame herself. Pinky tells her to rest but Ellice said it isnβt the time for rest because as soon as she recovers sheβs going back to work to gather more evidence against Marissa.
Pinky said she already has enough evidence but Ellice said itβs inconclusive and apart from that Andres has proven himself so they need one more document to get Marissa out of the company. Pinky asked what the document is about and Ellice said they need to find Gabrielβs affidavit paternity acknowledgment for Jacob.
At work, Marissa goes to Gabrielβs office to ask how Ellice is doing. Gabriel tells her that she has been discharged and doing well and he canβt live without her. Gabriel tears the paternity acknowledgement document into pieces and disposes it into the dust bin to protect his secret but unbeknownst to him pinky watched him from afar. Later, when Gabriel left the office, Pinky went for the pieces of the torn document in the bin and put it together for Ellice.
At home, Marissa picks up the hair comb gift that she $tole from Ellice when they were little and flashes back to it and her earlier talk with Gabriel that he canβt lose his family and wonβt let Hope grew up in a broken home and becomes sad.
