𝐓𝐇𝐄 𝐋𝐀𝐖 𝐎𝐅 𝐑𝐄𝐕𝐄𝐍𝐆𝐄: Tonight (WEDNESDAY 2nd) On Episode 26

Seventeen Years later, Hope and Jake are in a book Store, They both like a book on the book shelf and begin to fight over who will buy the book. Hope tells him that she first saw the book but Jake said there’s no rule that if she saw it first then it hers. They decided to bet on who gets the book but unfortunately Hope answered wrongly so Jake paid for the book and leaves annoying Hope.

Hope arrives home, Ellice asks her how her day went. Hope tells her about the book she didn’t get and Ellice tells her not to worry because she will find another book or its copy so she should stay there and she will prepare dinner, kissing her forehead as she leaves.

Lucing visits Ellice at home, she becomes glad seeing Hope and hugs her. As they were having their dinner, Gabriel arrives greeting Lucing and Hope ignoring Ellice. She asks Gabriel to join them but he said he has already eaten at the office as he leaves making them all unhappy especially Hope.

Ellice flashbacks to the past when he approached Gabriel that she knows it her fault that he has fallen for Marissa and she knows it will take a long time for him to l*ve her again as it used to be but she wants him to know that she will wait for him so he doesn’t abandon them and make their family whole again.

Later, Gabriel visits Ellice when Hope was sick and asks her to call Incase Hope isn’t better. Ellice suggested that he should stay with them but Gabriel reminds her that they’ve been separated for a year now so in case Hope needs him, he’ll be there as soon as possible he can.

Ellice convinced him that Hope needs a father and a father l*ve. Gabriel says Hope has a mom and a dad so they don’t need to be together to raise her but Ellice said she knows that he’s still angry with her but for their daughter’s sake so she doesn’t want her to grow up in a broken home as she pleaded for him to stay.

In his bedroom, Gabriel took his locket and he flashbacks to when he proposed to Marissa. He is thinking about Marissa that after making a lot of plans why did she disappear, not contact him nor return.

Ellice arrives at her company as the workers welcome her. Elsewhere, Hope is on campus, she becomes happy when she sees her friend Charie. She sees some guy (RJ) bullying a student and tells the student being bullied (Alfred) to inform her in case RJ bullies him again and she will tell his mom since they are family friends. She also tells her friend charie that she doesn’t want to end up like her parents after she tries to tell her l*ve indeed exists.

In her office, Ellice paces about with a glass of wine in her hand when Cesar entered her office saying that it’s too early for her to be in a bad mood and Ellice asks him what it is. Cesar sits down and tells her that he just thought that he’ll float out some cash again and as per their agreement he needs to ask for her permission.

Ellice asks what if she says No and Cesar said she thinks she has to say yes. Ellice asks why he bothered asking her because after 17 years she still has no choice but to say yes to all his decisions. Cesar gets up and thanks her and smiles before leaving.

Lucing visited a church thinking that time moves very fast it has been close to two decades now but she hasn’t heard anything from her daughter yet she’s still hoping that she’ll someday return and wherever she’s right now, she hopes she is doing alright and she still thinks of her and someday she hope they would both return both her daughter and grandson Jacob.

In his bedroom, Jake speaks to someone on the phone about his classes and the person informs him she will be back soon making Jake happy.

At class, the lecturer asked Hope a question while she’s answering Jack entered the class and answered the question shocking Hope. The lecturer tells Jake he is late but because he answered rightly he will let it slide as all the girls start crushing over him.

Hope tells Jake to let the one speaking to finish next time and asks if it’s his habit to take things that doesn’t belong to him. Jake remembers her from the book store asking if she is still bitter he got the book. The lecturer tells the class that he agrees with Hope they can only answer in his class with his permission as Jake apologizes.

Carmelita visits Gabriel at the Villarosa construction, She asks him how Ellice is doing so Gabriel tells her that she should’ve gone home. She then showed him Ellice’s tweet on her phone and asked if everything was alright between he and Ellice.

Carmelita advices him that it’s being 17yrs now so he should think about his wife’s suffering and can’t understand why he can’t forgive her asking exactly what she did because he rather fell for Marissa and all this while Sonya arrives listening.

Gabriel said he appreciates her concern for them but the issue is between him and his wife

Sonya interrupted that Gabriel is right because it’s between them and Ellice is just looking for attention and with that tweet and she is giving her exactly what she wants and for 17yrs her insecurities with Marissa has been eating her up because she knows Marissa is the better woman for Gabriel.

Carmelita tells them that no mistress can be better than the legal wife at least not for her son so Gabriel tells them to stop and if Carmelita wants to see Ellice and her grand daughter then she can always visit the house.

Cristina and Helena visit Ellice at her office, Cristina asks of the meaning of her tweet and if there’s problem. Ellice tells her that is just random stuff so Cristina asks if it’s just random or a cry for help. Ellice explained that she had a hard time expressing her true feelings for Gabriel and she doesn’t want them to get into a fight especially since Hope has being extra sensitive lately.

Helena tells her to share her problems because they are sisters. Ellice tells them she doesn’t know exactly what’s going on inside Gabriel’s head because he is always aloof. Cristina tells her to ask Gabriel out for a date but Ellice tells her that it not easy to talk to someone who’s not willing to talk to her.

Helena suggests that since Enzo is not around to talk to Gabriel she will do it and try to be his buddy for now and Helena tells Ellice to always share her feelings with her that way she wouldn’t keep her feelings locked up making Carmelita worried as she thanks them.

A girl who likes Jack took a picture of him and posted it on social media making all the girls crush over him, Hope sees the picture on her phone and showed it to Charie that it’s the reason she doesn’t trust a guy with that kind of face as she sees a lot of people liking the picture.

At VC, Sonya tells Gabriel that they’ve gotten a new client and they want them to handl the construction of their new office for their Jewelry store. Gabriel asked if they can afford them since they only put up huge buildings but Sonya says they’re offering twice the amount and the company’s name is “La Sera” and it’s originally from Indonesia but now they are in the Philippines surprising Gabriel.

Hope goes to the library, she found a book but Jack hurriedly takes the book instead annoying Hope as they begin to struggle over the book unfortunately tearing it apart making other books on the shelf fall on them. The Librarian arrives and scolds them as Hope laughs at Jacob.

Later, Hope and Jack are in the Dean’s office he scolds them for damaging school property and it will remain on their records until they graduate. Hope said she is not at fault but Jake accepts the blame shocking them so the Dean asks Hope to leave as Jake apologizes to her surprising her.

Outside, Charie tells Hope that Jack has saved her so maybe he’s a nice guy and they just misjudged him but Hope thinks her that maybe he intentionally took the fall to impress others as Charie teases her.

At home, Hope was unleashing her anger on her teddy bear when Lucing arrives asking if she has a problem hugging her. Hope tells her about Jake pestering her but she suggests she will handle him so Lucing tells her to report to her the next time he bothers her.

Gabriel arrives in their bedroom, Ellice asks him how was work and he says okay asking about Hers then picks up a file and decides to go to the study. Ellice asks Gabriel if he wants a cup of coffee and she’ll bring it to him at the study but Gabriel said he’s good and there is no need as he leaves.

At Ceñidoza, Cesar arrives with a gift for Ellice at her office and it’s a gift of appreciation for her looking the other way. Ellice flashbacks to when Cesar tells her that the police are investigating the organization and other companies involved but he managed to keep Ceñidoza out and she asks how he did so Cesar asks her to guess making Ellice conclude that he is a member of the organization.

Cesar smiles telling her how he overthrew their former leader but he is trying to start a new one at Ceñidoza and from time to time he will make a few request shocking Ellice who didn’t want to accept any illegal activities in her company but Cesar blackmails her to return the favor for all the dirty works he did for her but if she refuses there will be consequences and he is not blackmailing her but she should always look the other way and everything will be fine since it will be the beginning of a beautiful friendship as he smiles terrifying Ellice.

Ellice tells Cesar to not remind her of giving him that authorization so Cesar says he hardly gives presents so she should accept it since she helped him start over. The Next day, Lucing takes some coffee when Ellice arrives asking her about Gabriel’s whereabouts but Lucing tells her that he left quite early. Ellice tells her that he might have forgotten the lunch she prepared for him but Lucing tells her not to worry because she’ll let the driver send it to him but Ellice said she will do it as she leaves.

She arrives with the lunch box at Gabriel’s office but Gabriel tells her that she shouldn’t have bothered but rather sent the driver. Ellice said wanted to and it’s been a while she visited his office. She tries to open the fridge and Gabriel tries to stop her but Ellice did anyway getting shocked to see that all the lunch she prepares for Gabriel only ends up in his fridge even getting spoilt without him eating it.

Gabriel tells her that he’s busy with work so he couldn’t find time to eat since he is often out at their construction sights but Ellice said he should have informed her to stop since she put in much effort preparing it.

Gabriel tells her that he didn’t tell her to do it but Ellice said she still doing it because she’s trying to understand him and knows it’s going to be impossible for them to fix their broken at least he should have respected her as his wife as she packs the foods in her lunch bag and leaves with Gabriel looking at her

In her office, Ellice holds crumbles the lunch bag angry when Pinky enters to inform her that the publicist has arrived and asks if all is alright and Ellice says yes and that she will see them. At the meeting the publicist informs Ellice about “La Sere” releasing new pearls and they might be a threat to her company but Ellice angrily tells her to forget about them and proceed with her presentation.

At the dining table, Ellice is still absent minded so Hope and Lucing ask if she is okay and she said she is just tired from work. She then asks Hope about the guy bothering her at school and Hope said it’s like his existence is to annoy her making Lucing and Ellice eye each other and Ellice said is she sure the guy wants her attention because he has a crush on him.

Hope said she doesn’t want to think about it but if it’s true then she needs to avoid him because it’s a red flag when someone feels a certain way but behaves the exact opposite and she learnt that from her class. Right then Gabriel appears and for the first time joined them for dinner but Ellice excuses herself making Hope sad.
