After placing 13th, 14th, 15th, and 16th in the standings, Wassaman United, Sekondi Hasaacas, Unistar Academy, and Achiken FC were all demoted to the third tier.
Elmina Sharks and WAFA were demoted from the Premier League and will compete in Zone Two of the Division One League the following year, bringing the total number of relegated clubs from three to four.
