Real Tamale United (RTU) defeated Aduana Stars by a single goal on Sunday. In the ongoing Ghana Premier League(GPL), this was their second consecutive victory.
In the opening exchanges, the hosts demonstrated that they were prepared to win all three points. The midfield was under the hands of Aduana Stars for a while as well.
After gaining advantage of shoddy defending by the visitors, Stephen Dankwa Badu scored the game’s lone goal for the home team in the 14th minute.
However, despite all of Aduana’s possession, they were limited to few clear chances due to both their own flaws and the superior center defenders of RTU.
When Issah Kuka’s chest connected with Baba Kushibo’s cross but the keeper saved it, RTU wasted the chance to double their lead.
Every player on the home team was on the field during the closing minutes of play defending their advantage.
After six games, RTU is presently ranked 11th in the league with 8 points, while Aduana is third with 13 points.
In their upcoming Ghana Premier League match, RTU will face Great Olympics, whereas Aduana will face Berekum Chelsea.
