Mohammed Polo, a legend in Ghana, is certain that Accra Hearts of Oak can recover despite their BetPawa Ghana Premier League (GPL) opening-day loss to Aduana Stars.
Accra Hearts of Oak lost 1-0 against Aduana Stars on Sunday, September 11, to begin their 2022–2023 Ghana Premier League season.
Mohammed Polo advised the supporters not to use what happened the previous season as justification to put pressure on the team despite the worries expressed by some followers over the defeat.
“I think it’s a lesson learned. It’s a learning process so no need to panic because it’s early days yet. What happened to Hearts of Oak last year they have learned it and am sure this time it’s not going to happen.”
“They are going to develop and show their class and I hope they will live up to expectation,” Mohammed Polo said in an interview with an Accra-based FM station.
On Sunday, September 18, Accra Hearts of Oak will meet Great Olympics in the GA Mantse Derby on gameday two of the 2022/2023 Ghana Premier League.
