Raoul Savoy, the head coach of Central Africa Republic (CAR), claims that his team has the resources to compete against the Black Stars in the last round of 2023 Africa Cup of Nations qualifying.
At the Baba Yara Stadium on Thursday, Ghana will host CAR as both teams try to advance to the continental championship that will be held in Ivory Coast in January 2024.
If the Wild Beasts can defeat Ghana at the Baba Yara Stadium on Thursday, they may qualify for the Africa Cup of Nations.
“No. We don’t fear Ghana but we have to respect all the players, this country Ghana, and of course the Black Stars. It is not a question of fear but a question of respect” he said in an interview.
With 9 points, Ghana is presently in first place in Group E, one point ahead of Angola in second, and two points ahead of Central African Republic in third.
