Otto Addo, the head coach of Ghana’s Black Stars, has vowed to select the team’s starting lineup based on performance following Friday night’s humbling loss to Brazil in a friendly.
Prior to the 2022 FIFA World Cup competition in Qatar later this year in Le Havre, France, the Ghanaian coach experienced a severe loss.
The Black Stars tactician revealed to the press what he will do in the upcoming matches following the humiliating loss to the global powerhouse.
Additionally, he acknowledged making mistakes that were critical to his team’s defeat and said that the game taught him a lot more about his players.
“I made mistakes, learnt a lot more about my players. Picking the next 11 will depend on performance in the next game”, he told the press.
Brazil defeated Ghana 3-0 in France by scoring all three of their goals in the first half of the game.
On Tuesday in France, Ghana will have the chance to atone for their mistakes when they play Nicaragua in another friendly.
