Ibrahim Danlad, the goalkeeper for the Black Galaxies, praised Ghanaians for their support after his team defeated Sudan in the 2022 CAF Africa Nations Championship (CHAN) match that is currently taking place in Algeria.
In the second Group C match of the tournament in Constantine, the local team recovered from behind to upset Sudan.
To increase their prospects of moving on to the competition’s knockout stage, Ghana defeated Sudan 3-1.
Hussein Mohammed gave Sudan the lead after 30 minutes, but Black Galaxies goals from Konadu Yiadom, Afriyie Barnieh, and Suraj Seidu were enough to give them the victory.
Black Galaxies remained solidly in control of the game thanks to some important saves from Danlad Ibrahim.

After the critical match against Sudan, David Abagna was given the honor of being chosen man of the match. The Black Galaxies advanced to the next round of the tournament after finishing second in Group C.
