Anthony Annan, a former Black Stars player, asserted that the team might win the Qatar 2022 World Cup if they put in a lot of effort.
In Group H, the Black Stars were matched up with Uruguay, South Korea, and Portugal. On November 24, Ghana’s first match at the World Cup will be against Portugal.
Beginning on November 20 and concluding on December 18, 2022’s World Cup will take place. Before taking off for Doha, Qatar, Ghana will play an international friendlies against Switzerland.
The team will train in Doha at the Aspire Academy’s facilities.
“We basically have a new set of players with knowledge of the task ahead. They have to put up their best to go beyond what we did or reach the same level that we reached in 2010. I hope and believe that they will do it,” he said in an interview.
“I can see that they have a good team. Partey is there, Kudus has been doing amazing and all the other players. They have to put their heads together and they have to know that this is the time they have to show themselves to the world that they are able to do anything,”
