Deborah Acquah, a female long jumper from Ghana, won bronze after clearing an amazing 6.95 meters in the finals.
Acquah entered the competition with a personal best jump of 6.37 meters, but she outperformed herself and won Ghana its third bronze medal of the year in the Commonwealth Games.
