Once the Ghana Football Association formally confirms Otto Addo’s return to head coach of Ghana’s senior national side, the Black Stars, he will inherit a galaxy of young talent.
Otto Addo is a former Ghana international with coaching training from Germany.
After completing a required interview, the selection committee is reportedly favoring the former Dortmund midfield player.

The appointment of Mark Addo, the vice president of the Ghana Football Association, to oversee the selection committee followed Ghana’s dismal 2023 AFCON results, which resulted in the dismissal of English coach Chris Hughton.
In his second term, Otto Addo will have Mohammed Kudus leading Ghana’s next generation of talents, including Ernest Nuamah, Ibrahim Osman, Nathaniel Adjei, and others, if reports prove to be accurate.
