Imax Media Promotions has signed Featherweight/Super Featherweight boxer John Quaye, also known as the Magic Man, who was found competing in the De-luxy Professional Boxing League.
Quaye (10-5-4-1) will need to step up his game because the contract is for three years. He practices at the Jamestown Boxing Gym with coaches Randy and Nuhu as well as Yussif Mubarak Mubarak. Under the new management, he must compete in at least four fights the next season.
The Magic Man said “Congratulations to me and myself, this is beyond excitement as I announce that I have signed a contract with Max TV to be an official Imax Boxing athlete, I am very grateful for this opportunity and for those of you who have been riding with me. Let’s get it.”
Every boxer hopes to get a job that would help him reach new heights and become a champion, therefore the contract, according to Yussif Mubarak, his special aide and counselor, is a dream come true.
Coach Randy is also pleased because most of their issues will be resolved and it might impact other gym members. He thanked the new administration.
The new Management / Promotions Syndicate, which also comprises Mr. Ernest Arday and Max TV’s head of sports Yaw Ampofo Ankrah, is led by Mr. Fadi Tattal, director of Imax Media Promotions.
Imax Media Promotions also signed boxers Michael Ansah, alias One Bullet, and Charles Tetteh of Panix Gym.
At the signing ceremony were some GBA authorities, including President Mr. Abraham Neequaye.
