“Forgive me, okay? But I cannot believe that he’s alone. There’s several of them inside the PNP. And I’m quite confident that they’ll all be uncovered whoever they may be.”
At an undisclosed precinct, an obnoxious officer whines about the negligence of parents being the cause of the kids detained. Makmak and Onyok don’t seem to agree. Flora calls to inform Cardo that the kids have been picked up by officers from another community.
The obnoxious officer is rambling a bunch of nonsense and demanding that Elmo and Yolly pay a fine before he releases the kids. Knowing their rights, they protest against it. As the officer threatens to arrest them, Cardo soon arrives and learns of the situation.
He calls the guy’s bluff. The officer’s superior arrives to put things in order, promising Cardo to deal with his obnoxious greedy subordinate.
Don Emilio meets up with Redentor, his protector and a high ranking CIDG officer to talk business. Later at headquarters, chief Rodolfo brings up the illegal drug syndicates they’re after, and eyeing Redentor, he hints that there’s some among them who are protecting the drug syndicates.
Cardo and family discuss last night’s incident and Flora scolds Benny for his foolishness which almost ended Elmo and Yolly in jail. Cardo later drops the kids at school and charges them not to venture out without any adults coming to pick them up.
Glen suggests to Jerome that they turn the case over to the CIDG since it needs a lot of resources. Jerome isn’t a happy camper. Meanwhile, the CIDG discuss the assassin of Col. Delmar. Cardo says it’s not safe to move since there’s too many spies. Joaquin claims that he already exposed the spy.
“Forgive me, okay?” Cardo taunts. “But I cannot believe that he’s alone. There’s several of them inside the PNP. And I’m quiet confident that they’ll all be uncovered whoever they may be.”
Benny resumes with his foolishness with Marie, who soon calls him out as a stalker on account of his strange behavior. She demands that he leave her alone. Later that night, hitman Mecurio stalks his latest target and sends him to meet his Maker.
Cardo finds Benny sulking and soon learns of his gimmick with Marie. He charges him to quit his pretence. Benny convinces him to go out. Meanwhile, Carreon informs Delfin the news about the murder of one of their chief inspectors.
Cardo arrives with Benny at a bar. As stingy as always, Benny orders for peanuts and a bucket of beer. Soon, a dancer mounts the stage and proceeds to entertain the audience. In his comical manner, Benny recognizes the girl and starts wailing. The girl notices him as well but keeps on anyways.
“That girl… chief… she’s dancing there.”
“What about her?” Cardo asks in confusion. “She’s pretty.”
“I know. She’s so pretty. Chief, she’s the one.”
“Her who?”
“The girl I like,” Benny groans.
“Who is she?”
“It’s Mari-ee-ee. It’s Mar-ieeee. What is she doing here?”
Cardo charges Benny to stop embarrassing him with his wailing. After her performance, Marie confronts Benny, asking if he’s stalking her. Much to Cardo’s displeasure, Benny introduces him as Boye, his friend who’s been sending her flowers. A drunk tries to take her by force to entertain him and his buddies. Cardo teaches them all a lesson in respect as he whoops their miserable asses. Marie is smitten with Cardo.
At home, while Benny whines about how Marie had been all over Cardo earlier, Marie rambles nonstop to a coworker about Cardo being much of a gentleman than all their other regulars. Just then, a familiar face walks in and Marie declares him as a gentleman too.
“Hi, Hector. Welcome back.” Marie goes over to the hitman’s table. She fills him in on the incident earlier and the guy starts issuing threats.
“I can’t imagine you as that type of guy,” Marie says.
“What type?” Hector asks.
“Type who murders.”
A brief flashback reveals Hector’s happy life with his then wife, Irene, as well as him being a SAF (Special Forces) member. It seems Marie shares a striking resemblance to Hector’s wife. Meanwhile, Delfin and Carreon deliberate over the possible connection between the two murders of their fellow PNP officers.
The wretched Tuazon family proceeds with their plan of bettering the lives of the patients at the rehab center, lives they ruined in one way or the other. Tomas even resorts to helping out. Verna mocks him with his drug addiction. Later at headquarters, Delfin orders Cardo to take over and handle the assassination case of Col. Delmar in coordination with Carreon.
“What about our fellow officer who was killed yesterday?” Cardo asks.
“We strongly suspect that the two incidents are connected,” Carreon replies.
“That’s why it’s CIDG that will handle both cases,” Delfin declares.
Hitman Mecurio engages in target practice as he flashes back to his time as a SAF member.
