“Hey! You wretched animals! You’re actually going to kill those dogs? You good for nothing! Jerks!! You’re heartless. Just you wait. I’m going to beat you both to a pulp, do you hear me?! You’re going to slaughter me? Alright! Go ahead! Let’s do this! Come ooooonnnnnnnnn!…Chief!!!”
Some watchmen catch some guys assaulting and trying to capture a dog. When the officials intervene and try to apprehend the scumbags, they get their asses handed down to them. Later, they report back to grandma Kap about the incident. Meanwhile, Atong the leader of the hoodlums asks his goons to lie low till things settle down.
Cardo receives a phone call from his grandma, telling him about her men having been able to identify “those good for nothing people who have been stealing dogs”. Later at Barangay 628, Rigor gives Flora a sketch of the suspects and Glen shows Cardo a case file which features one of the scums – Salvador Reyes a.k.a Zaldy.
“Contact the people you know in Sta. Cruz later,” Cardo says to Benny once they’re alone. “We’ve got a mission.”
On the guise of placing a bet, Cardo and Benny infiltrate the dog fighting arena. Meanwhile, Verna has a talk with Cita about Tomas’ deceptive skills. She later asks him about where he had gone last weekend, and Tomas lies through his teeth.
In order to maintain his cover, Cardo places a bet on Douglas, one of the competing dogs. Soon enough, he spots Zaldy among the crowd. Back home, a girl shows Onyok and Makmak a photo of her dog on her tablet. They boys start fighting over the tablet.
Cardo bids his time and watches as the dogs are unleashed on one another. After the game ends, he and Benny tail Zaldy and his accomplice. Concurrently, Makmak tries to convince his parents to get him a tablet of his own. Doesn’t go so well.
Benny saunters into the hideout of the goons just as they’re about to slaughter the dogs. He starts puting on a comical show. “Hey! You wretched animals! You’re actually going to kill those dogs? You good for nothing! Jerks!!” Benny takes off his shirt and flexes his non-existent muscles. “You’re heartless. Just you wait. I’m going to beat you both to a pulp, do you hear me?!”
Zaldy brandishes a knife. “You’re seriously out of your mind. We’ll cut you up instead.”
“You’re going to slaughter me? Alright! Go ahead! Let’s do this! Come ooooonnnnnnnnn!” And then…”Chief!!!”
Cardo saunters in in style and beats the goons into submission. “You’re a tough one, huh. Now you two are dead meat.” Once they’re out, Cardo orders Benny to tie them up. Next stop, the police station. Later, team Jerome raid the slaughter house and find it deserted.
Makmak informs Cardo about the tablet and he eventually promises to get one for them provided they get a perfect score in their exams. Delfin offers to chip in. Later at CIDG headquarters, Delfin deliberates with his men over the drug syndicate who have turned to setting up their labs in unusual places.
Having found where the scumbags have moved their business to, Cardo calls to inform Jerome. Glen insists on going along, despite Jerome’s concern for her safety. Later, Joaquin informs his partners in crime about the meth labs the CIDG are set to raid. “Even one is a movie house. The users are the audience.”
“What a bunch of idiots,” Don Emilio says in mockery. “Didn’t they realize a cop could be in the audience?”
On account of her husband’s constant lies, Verna starts suspecting that Tomas could be having a mistress. Cita insinuates that he could be tending to his illegal business with big-time criminals.
Cardo and Benny arrive at the new venue of the dog fighting arena. While team Jerome is on their way over, Cardo bets on a dog named “Terminator”. And so does Benny. Meanwhile, Lolit is ranting nonstop back home about Glen’s job always putting her in danger.
Team Jerome arrive outside the venue and Cardo soon calls to give confirmation of Atong’s presence. Jerome asks Glen to wait outside while they go in but she slips away anyways. Meanwhile, Terminator and Douglas (the other dog) commence the show.
Upon noticing Glen’s disappearance, Jerome charges his men in. Chaos and pandemonium follows as the officers subdue the audience. Cardo chases Atong. Meanwhile, Benny engages in a comical fight with a goon. Glen takes out some others while Cardo and Jerome fight on side by side.
Glen encounters Atong and is easily beaten and subdued. Cardo comes upon the scene. And so does Jerome. They’re however forced to disarm themselves. Cardo gives Glen some kind of signal and she manages to break free. Cardo dashes for his gun and fires. Jerome joins in the fun. Nevertheless, Glen ends up taking a hit as Atong drops to the ground. Jerome looks on as Cardo frets over Glen.
The NGO assumed custody of the rescued dogs, thanking the officers for their help. While Glen sits in the ambulance, recuperating, Lolit arrives with Nanding and Brenda and begins ranting again about Glen’s safety. FF>> She goes on with her rantings at home and eventually has an episode. Meanwhile, Delfin charges his men to prioritize drug related cases as mandated by the government.
“Especially now we’ve restricted the areas these syndicates work. They will be more careful with their operations.”
Just then, Carreon makes the most foolish decision of his life by putting Joaquin the jackass in charge of all drug related cases.
