“No matter what they all say about us, or how much they try to discredit us, they can never break our spirits. Because we know we’re all fighting for what’s right and what’s just. We need to plan our next move. And that is to take down Renato Hipolito.”
The episode begins with Homer the scumbag grumbling and lecturing his miserable buddies about how Cardo’s group had strengthened their forces, on account of how they had killed Senator De Silva and Don Emilio. Meanwhile, the workers of MC Digital engage themselves in various sporting events and it might not interest you to know that Marco the blockhead takes the chance to make a pass at Alyana the wretched cheat.
The CIDG discover the late Senator De Silva’s connection to Don Emilio and as they deliberate on the matter, the despicable director Hipolito puts on a quite pathetic show at his campaign headquarters in front of the media, badmouthing the actions of the Vendetta and making some lame ass promise of putting a stop to their ‘terrorism’. Cardo and his comrades watch the show on TV.
“That Hipolito is a hypocrite,” Romulo hisses.
“People still don’t know the evilness of that man,” Ramil chimes in.
“We’ve taken down the fake Vendetta,” Tadpole adds. “But now he’s the one discrediting us.”
“Your enemies have discredited you countless times,” General Olegario mentions. “But have you ever allowed that to put a stop to what all of you have been fighting for?”
“The General is right,” Cardo declares. “No matter what they all say about us, or how much they try to discredit us, they can never break our spirits. Because we know we’re all fighting for what’s right and what’s just.”
At the NMIG, the traitorous snake Catindig ups his efforts to discredit General Olegario and Cardo. However, James refuses to believe that they had both simply joined forces with the rebel group that had supposedly killed their sons. Catindig barks some more bullshit.
While Alyana the cheat continues to make a fool of herself with Marco the blockhead, Sheila confronts her and makes a scene on account of how Cardo had killed the rotten Senator De Silva. At camp Crame, the CIDG hold a press conference where General Borja exposes the criminal ways of De Silva, as well as his partnership with Don Emilio, the known drug lord. The members of the Vendetta watch the live telecast and are quite happy with the turn of events.
“We need to plan our next move,” so says the commander. “And that is to take down Renato Hipolito.”
“General Borja can help us,” Diana mentions.
Romulo expresses his utmost disapproval of the matter despite Diana’s attempt to talk him into it. Ramil seconds the commander as he states that they can’t just trust Delfin so lightly. Cardo seems to agree. Speaking of, Hipolito orders Catindig to find out whether General Borja knows where his grandson is hiding. Back at the hideout, Diana tries to have Cardo back her up.
“We’ll be dealing with a more powerful group this time.”
“You said it yourself, General,” Ramil remarks. “We’ll face a more powerful group. And we don’t know if General Borja has enough influence to help us. What if someone more powerful is keeping an eye on him as well?”
“I trust General Borja,” Diana argues. “And I am very confident that he would be able to help us.”
Cardo is exasperated. “I know my grandfather. He may believe everything we say. He is an honest man. And I know for a fact that he would never agree with our methods.”
‘Which is why we should think about other ways to bring Hipolito down once and for all,” Romulo concludes.
While General Olegario has a talk with Cardo about the methods of their group, Marco the blockhead successfully woos Alyana the wretched cheat and kisses her. Disgusting. Absolutely disgusting. The blockhead then professes his love for her and the wretched cheat gladly reciprocates.
Jimboy has a nightmare about their escape out of prison. In the meantime, Buffalo also can’t help but to feel restless as he has a premonition that something bad is about to happen. The next morning at the Arevalos, Virgie continues to encourage her daughter’s relationship with Marco after learning of what had transpired the night before. Some mother.
“But you’re still married to Cardo,” Teddy points out, evidently against the absolute foolishness of his wife and daughter.
Alyana proves to be more shallow and dumber than we think. “Marco is helping me process my annulment with Cardo.”
“Then I hope you’re absolutely sure about this.”
General Olegario broods by herself and reflects on the talk the group had had recently. Thinking it would be best for everyone to get some help in their fight, she secretly intends to meet up with General Borja. A moment later, Jimboy has a talk with Tadpole and the others, glad to have escaped prison to be helping out the country instead of rotting away in jail. Once Cardo, Romulo and the others show up, the group begin to have breakfast.
Alyana the wretched cheat informs her parents about Marco’s soonest visit, and Teddy merely says that he hopes she made the right decision to get into a relationship with the blockhead. Virgie spouts some nonsense we all don’t pay attention to. I know I didn’t. Anyway, Delfin and some members of the Dalisay family play judge and jury with Cardo’s vigilante group, criticizing their methods. Blah blah blah.
The members of Vendetta deliberate on their next mission. Greco proposes that they seek the help of James to obtain solid evidence against Hipolito and Catindig. Diana worriedly mentions that mere information might not be enough to bring down the miserable scoundrel and the traitorous snake since they could always turn the evidence back on them.
“Romulo…Ramil…maybe it’s high time we asked for some help from General Borja.” And maybe it’s high time you cut short that foolishness.
Cardo looks on with resolve. “I’m sorry, General. But that’s not what the group needs right now. What we all need to do is to keep trusting each other, so we can be ready for anything.”
“We have to be ready for them,” Romulo states. “We need to gather enough evidence first. Then we make our move.”
“By the way, commander…manager…I’ll be going out later. I really need to see my wife Alyana.”
“I’m heading out as well,” Diana chimes in.
“General, do you want us to come with you?” asks the commander.
“No need. I can take care of myself. I won’t be out too long.” Uh-oh. I can sense perfect trouble coming from miles away. Can you?
