ERICA SEEKS TO AVENGE HER SISTER’S DEATH AND EVIL TOM PLANS TO HALT EMILIO’S SHADY BUSINESS
The Corpuz family eavesdrop as Jerome asks Glen for an answer to his proposal. Glen asks that they remain friends. Meanwhile, Verna comes to drag her daughter away as Don Emilio tries to convince her to undergo self-defense classes.
Benny treats Cardo at a bar, same place the obnoxious cop Toribio is hanging out with his lackeys. Concurrently, Macario notices that his gun is missing. Meanwhile, Erica stalks into the bar and gets into the corrupt cop’s face, her hand trained on the hidden gun. She however has no balls to enact her plan.
Toribio starts harassing Erica. Benny goes to intervene and gets some punches in return. Cardo steps in but is eventually overpowered and arrested. Cardo and Benny end up locked behind bars.
“Chief, how are we getting out of here?” Benny asks.
“I have no idea.”
Macario confronts Erica about his gun. Erica admits to having taken it but then manages to fool him some more. Meanwhile, Delfin has Cardo and Benny released. “Don’t ever do that again. Please have some respect for my position.”
Flora lectures Cardo and Benny upon their arrival home. Benny insinuates that the cops at the bar reek of corruption. Onyok overhears.
“What? You mean there are bad cops?”
While Macario informs Toribio about his plan of earning Cardo’s trust and dragging him into their business, Flora charges Onyok to be a good cop in future.
“I’m going to become a good officer just like Cardo,” Onyok declares.
Disregarding Benny’s warnings of a possible trap, Cardo arrives at the Samonte residence with Benny in tow. While Erica is moping around about her sister’s fate, Cardo is having himself fooled by Macario at the dining table. Benny, at least, seems to be enjoying the meal.
After going shopping, Onyok witnesses a boy stealing a woman’s purse and points it out to Flora. Like an idiot, the boy holds up the purse like it’s some kind of trophy. Onyok’s enthusiasm gets him bruised as the thief makes a run for it. Arriving on the scene, Glen stays behind while Rigor goes after him. A moment later, Rigor drags the thief over, boasting over his first break ever.
Onyok charges at him. “You’re such a bad boy!”
Glen and the others restrain him. Glen decides to turn over the young thief to the social workers. Meanwhile, Tomas sees the news about a drug syndicate that has been raided recently by the PNP. Don Emilio arrives with Verna and Rachel with some shopping bags.
“Interesting news?” Emilio asks.
“Old news,” Tomas replies. “What if I give the cops a tip about your operations,” Tomas thinks to himself. “To put a stop to your business that might put us all in danger.”
Verna is against her husband’s plans for her father. Tomas is however determined to protect his family no matter what. Meanwhile, Erica stalks Toribio and takes her sweet time aiming the gun at him. Making a complete ass of herself, a shot goes off and she starts screaming along with those nearby. Toribio, the scoundrel remains unscathed. Later, Erica charges herself, evidently trying to manup her non-existent will and skills to kill. The poor thing hasn’t developed any balls yet.
“The next time I see him, I will kill him!” (Yeah. Whatever. You wouldn’t even be able to kill a cockroach even if your life depended on it.)
Rotten cop Toribio plans on murdering the person who tried to murder him. And who does he suspect? That’s right. Our poor little Cardo. Meanwhile, Jepoy tries to talk some sense into the young wannabe murderer, Erica Nobleza. Concurrently, Aries is brought over to the social welfare center.
The solvent boys surround Erica, informing her of Aries’ capture. Coming upon the scene and recognizing them as the young thiefs, Benny pounces on them but Erica defends them. Cardo joins the mix as Erica states that the kids are all her friends. She then thanks him for rescuing her at the bar earlier.
Joaquin the jackass isn’t thrilled with his father’s plan against his grandpa. Emilio walks in on their argument and Tomas trivializes the matter. Meanwhile, Macario is taking his daddy act to the next level, assuring his son that he’ll enroll him this coming school year. He soon meets up with Toribio, who orders him to finish off Cardo.
While Erica has a talk with the solvent boys, suggesting that they stop terrorizing the streets, Benny rambles on about how suspicious “that woman” is. “She’s still pretty and sexy, isn’t she?”
“Even I am starting to doubt who that woman really is,” Cardo declares.
Toribio motivates Macario, threatening his son’s safety should he mess up. Meanwhile, Cardo decides to tag along with Glen to the DSWD to talk to the apprehended solvent boy. Makmak graces them with his presence and as Cardo introduces him to Glen, he spots his miserable father nearby.
Macario has no choice but to come over and play nice. Flora even has some coffee prepared for the scoundrel. Cardo can’t think of anything better to do but to open his big mouth and mention the solvent boy he’s going to be interrogating at the DSWD. Benny teases Makmak with how he’s crushing on Glen.
At the DSWD, Glen and Jerome interrogate Aries about his group and his welfare. Seeing that they’re getting nowhere, Cardo takes the reins and demands cooperation.
“Tell us where your friends are hiding. Right now. Where is your hideout?”
“If I tell you, they’re going to kill me.”
Cardo smirks. “They won’t get the chance, because I got your back. Just tell us who’s telling you to steal. Is it Erica?”
“Erica’s a good person,” Aries argues.
“If Erica’s a good person, then she wouldn’t let you steal things,” Cardo counters.
“She’s just looking out for us. It’s…”
“Who is it?”
“It’s sir Bok. He’s the one who gives us orders.”
Cardo glances at Glen and Jerome. “Who is this guy Bok? Is he a cop? Is your protector a cop?”
As Cardo gets more persistent, a social worker comes to take Aries away. “I think it’s better if you come back another time. This could traumatize the boy even further.”
Cardo is exasperated, oblivious of the disgusted look Jerome is giving him.
