Takyi Arhin, the CEO of Aduana Stars, has emphasized that the squad has won two local championships this year.
From the start of the 2022–23 football season, the Dormaa-based club has been among the top in the nation.
Aduana Stars over the weekend put forth a valiant effort on Sunday and defeated Asante Kotoko 1-0 to move past the Round 16 stage of the MTN FA Cup.
Aduana Stars will win the double this season, according to Takyi Arhin, who spoke after the squad advanced to the quarterfinal stage.
Both the MTN FA Cup and the Ghana Premier League (GPL) championship are goals for the team.
“We’ve beaten Asante Kotoko and Hearts of Oak, the rest have no way through us so they should forget it. When we clinch the league title with the FA Cup, whoever team we face in the FA Cup final will go to Africa if they can.
“But we are going for the double this season, no team can stop us,” Takyi Arhin declared.
On the Ghana Premier League standings, Aduana Stars have already widened their lead to five points.
The group has performed well and may very well end the year with two titles.
