Ghana’s roster for the Africa Cup matches against Madagascar and the Central African Republic has been chosen by coach Otto Addo.
As part of the build-up to the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022 in November, the Black Stars will compete in a four-nation tournament with Japan, Chile, and Tunisia. After completing his two-match suspension, captain Andre Ayew has returned to the squad after missing the World Cup play-offs against Nigeria.
Mubarak Wakasso, Jonathan Mensah, and Kamaldeen Sulemana have also returned to the squad. Since the Africa Cup of Nations in Cameroon, the three players have not played for the Black Stars. Daniel Afriyie Barnieh of Accra Hearts of Oak and Augustine Okrah of Bechem United have also been named to the team.
Ghana will play Madagascar on June 1st, followed by the Central African Republic four days later. With the FIFA World Cup just around the corner, Otto Addo will lead his team to a four-nation tournament in Japan as part of their preparations.
