EPL UPDATES: Nkunku to finally debut for Chelsea against Sheffield United

France international striker Christopher Nkunku is to make his long-awaited debut for English Premier League side Chelsea FC on Saturday afternoon.

Nkunku joined the Blues from German side RB Leipzig in the summer of 2023 and impressed alongside Senegalese star Jackson during pre-season but suffered an unfortunate knee injury, which has kept him out of action till now.

“Very good news,” Pochettino said about Nkunku’s recovery in Chelsea’s pre-match presser.

“He will be in the squad and feel the competition, and be with his teammates.

But we need to be calm and quiet, not to put all the pressure on him,” he added.

Nkunku might be what Chelsea needs in these difficult times to propel them closer to their season targets.
