Evelyn Badu, the captain of the Black Princesses, has ambitions to play for Chelsea and Barcelona after taking home two medals at the 2022 CAF Awards on Thursday, July 21, 2022.
At the 2022 CAF Awards in Rabat, Morocco, the former Hasaacas Ladies player received Women’s Interclub Player of the Year and Women’s Young Player.
The Mamelodi Sundowns Ladies team of Andile Dlamini and Bambanani Mbanie were beaten out for the Interclub trophy by Evelyn Badu.
After receiving two awards at the 2022 CAF Awards, Badu discussed her future ambitions and disclosed that she hopes to play for Chelsea or sign with Nigeria’s Asisat Oshoala to play for Barcelona.
“I would like to play Barcelona. Is the team of my heart. For me to retire or quit football, at least I have to play Barcelona. I want to join Oshoala in Barca or play Chelsea.”
“I will be happy to play Barca or Chelsea,” Evelyn Badu said Accra-based FM station.
