Frederick Moore, the former CEO of Hearts of Oak, has urged forward Daniel Afriyie Barnieh to negotiate a contract with the team.
The club’s agreement with Afriyie Barnieh expires this month. The forward is hesitant to extend his stay at the club, according to numerous reports in the local media.
“I am glad and grateful for what he’s given Hearts of Oak but I would be more grateful to him if he can come to a compromise as to what needs to be done in the contract negotiations,” Frederick Moore said in an interview with a Kumasi-based FM station.
Prior to his resignation, Moore had been the CEO of Hearts of Oak for just under two years.
After winning the Ghana Premier League, FA Cup, and U-20 AFCON with Hearts of Oak and the Black Satellites, Barnieh had a stellar two-year run that earned him a spot in the Black Stars’ 2022 FIFA World Cup roster.
