Accra Hearts of Oak were defeated by Ghana’s Black Galaxies in a practice match for the Algeria-hosted 2023 Africa Nations Championship (CHAN) competition.
On Sunday, December 10, 2022, at the Ghanaman Soccer Centre of Excellence, Prampram, Yaw Amankwa Baafi of the Ghana Premier League (GPL) giants gave the Phobians the lead, but the home-based Black Stars rallied to overcome them.
Ghana is in Group C, where they will compete against Morocco, Sudan, and Madagascar, the reigning champions.
The event is scheduled to start on January 13, and Annor Walker and his team are eager to make an impression.
On January 15, Ghana will begin its match against Madagascar.
Hearts of Oak also used the game to get their players ready for the Ghana Premier League, which begins on December 19, 2022, directly following the World Cup finals.
