Wilfried Gnonto will reportedly miss Leeds United’s trip to the Emirates on Saturday after picking up an ankle injury in Italy’s match with Malta.
The pacey winger lasted just 22 minutes for Italy against Malta on Sunday. Roberto Mancini said after the game: “Gnonto is dealing with a sprain, I hope it is nothing to worry about.”

Leeds go into the game against The Gunners needing to record a good result if they want to keep the relegation zone at bay. The once giants of English football are tied to Everton and Nottingham Forest with 26 points, while West Ham and Bournemouth, both teams in relegation danger, have 24 points.
Leeds managed to get an important win on the road against Wolverhampton (2-4) last time out, but they were previously held to a 2-2 draw to Brighton and defeated by Chelsea (1-0).
