Prior to the 2022–23 season, Bibiani Goldstars, a member of the Ghana Premier League (GPL), parted ways with eleven players.
According to reports, the Bibiani-based club has made the decision to cut connections with eleven underperforming players in order to trim its squad in preparation for the upcoming season.
Before the start of the new season, the players—Isaac Badu, John Kassilas Arthur, Joseph Dinku, Isaac Baah, Mohammed Oshei, Abdul Latif Abubakari, Nicholas Osei Bonsu, Faisal Mohammed, Collins Nsiah, Yaw Ansah Fufuro, and Richard Amoah—must now find new teams.
According to reports, Goldstars is now in negotiations to add new players to its roster in preparation for the upcoming league season.
Iddrisu Abdulai, Francis Twene, all of Bechem United, Pius Baffour, previously of King Faisal, and Ronald Frimpong, of Real Tamale United, are all players the club is interested in signing.
