The game between Hearts of Oak and Eleven Wonders in the Ghana Premier League (GPL) has been postponed due to a strange illness in the Phobian camp.
According to the club’s official announcement released on its official Facebook page on Saturday afternoon, the GPL match had been postponed due to recommendations from the Ghana Health Services.
The game between Hearts of Oak and Bibiani Gold Stars was nearly postponed due to illness, but the players recovered and the game was played.
Hearts of Oak defeated Bibiani Gold Stars 1-0 thanks to a penalty kick goal by defender Samuel Inkoom.
“Our match against Eleven Wonders has been postponed following advice from the Ghana Health Service. According to the GHS they are still investigating the cause of the illness that affected the Hearts of Oak team.” the club said.
