Accra Hearts of Oak managed to get a point against WAFA at the Sogakope Red Bull Arena.
The game which opened the door for Match day 2 of the Ghana Premier League (GPL) saw both teams exhibit good football.
WAFA started as the better of the two sides and dominated the game but it was Hearts of Oak that opened the scoring.
A harmless ball from Salifu Ibrahim found it was to Kofi Kordzi who had an easier task of hitting it through the legs of the WAFA goalkeeper.
Hearts went into the break a goal good but in the second half, some neat football from WAFA saw Sampson Agyapong level things for the Sogakope side.
The game produced no more goals as it ended 1-1.
