Two-time Ghana Women’s Premier League (GWPL)  champions, Ampem Darkoa Ladies football club are champions of the northern sector of the league after accumulating the most number of points at the end of the season.

The Techiman based team won twelve games, drew three and also lost three out of a total of eighteen games with three points above the runner up at the end of the 2021/22 league season.

Despite failing to win the league since 2016/17 season, they have managed to qualify to the league finals than any other team in the Northern Zone.

Ampem Darkoa will face their bitter-rivals Hasaacas Ladies Football Club in the league finals which is slated for Saturday 28th May 2022 at the Accra Sports Stadium.
