Samuel Boadu, head coach of Accra Hearts of Oak SC, a dominant force in the Ghana Premier League (GPL) , believes no club can ever defeat his squad by a score of six goals or more.
Samuel Boadu claimed that because his players were inexperienced in the league, his squad let up six goals to Wydad Athletic Club, the 2021–22 CAF Champions League champions.
According to Samuel Boadu, his players are well exposed in the interclub competition in Africa and will not conceding goals for fun again.
Hearts of Oak Coach Samuel Boadu, speaking to an Accra-based FM station: “I don’t think we will concede 6 goals in Africa again. The boys are now exposed.”
Hearts lost 4-0 to JS Sauora in the Confederation Cup after losing 6-1 to Wydad Athletic Club in the CAF Champions League playoffs in Morocco.
Hearts defeated Bechem United FC in the 2021–22 MTN FA Cup final at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium in Kumasi, and as a result, the team will represent Ghana in the 2022–23 CAF Confederation Cup competition.
