Slavko Matic, the head coach of Accra Hearts of Oak, is dissatisfied with the Phobians for failing to support their team when the players needed them at the stadiums.
The Serbian manager claims that a major issue for Accra Hearts of Oak is that not enough fans are showing up to the stadium to support their club.
Slavko Matic lamented the fact that they only experience the voices and presence of the few spectators at Accra Sports Stadium when they score a goal, despite the fact that they require them continuously for 90 minutes.
“I am very disappointed with our fans, very, very. We need supporters. Somebody who will support 90 minutes team. Not only when we celebrate.”
“It is very easy to celebrate but when we struggle, when we fight, somebody needs to support these guys. I hope next time we will hear more supporters,” Slavko Matic said after Accra Hearts of Oak’s 3-1 victory over Berekum Chelsea on matchday 17.
After defeating Berekum Chelsea 3-1 at home on Saturday, February 11, 2023, Accra Hearts of Oak moved up to second place in the Premier League standings.
