Ghanaian international Samuel Inkoom has stated that he is open to joining the Black Stars and is willing to assist the team if called up.
Torpedo Samuel Inkoom , the former U-20 World Cup winner, has returned to the local league after spending last December with a Georgian squad.
Samuel Inkoom has signed a one-year contract with Accra Hearts of Oak after appearing in three games for the Phobians and scoring his first goal in their league encounter against Elmina Sharks at the Accra Sports stadium on Sunday .
If required, the 32-year-old defender says he is willing to serve his nation.
“Of course, I am open to the Black Stars. I keep on saying I will never turn my back on my country. The country that has given me a huge platform in my life, I will never turn my back when they call me,” he said.
Samuel Inkoom was not called back into the Black Stars after his final call-up for the 2015 Africa Cup of Nations.
