According to reports, Samuel Boadu, the head coach of Accra Hearts of Oak, has resigned from his position as the assistant coach of the Ghana U-20 team.
The Hearts of Oak administration reportedly wants Samuel Boadu to concentrate on the Africa campaign, thus he won’t be participating in the national team once more while playing for the Phobians.
The Ghana Football Association (GFA) has apparently been informed of the former Medeama SC coach’s decision to resign as the team’s head coach.
After Karim Zito’s recent failures, the GFA will now consider alternative options. It was previously rumored that the association was eager to name Samuel Boadu as the head coach of the U-20 team.
After placing sixth in the 2021–2022 Ghana Premier League (GPL) despite winning the MTN FA Cup, Samuel Boadu is under pressure.
