Hearts of Oak’s communications director, Kwame Opare Addo, claims that his team is prepared to take on Asante Kotoko in the third matchweek of the betPawa Premier League.
After earning just one point each against Aduana Stars and Great Olympics in their first two games, the Phobians have yet to win a game this season.
At the Baba Yara Stadium, Kotoko’s 2022–23 Premier League season will get underway against the Phobians. At 15:00 GMT, the game is scheduled to begin.
“We (Hearts of Oak) are ready and the team is in good shape to face Kotoko on Sunday we will surely beat Kotoko on Sunday,’ Kwame Opare Addo said.
The Porcupine Warriors are coming off a shocking loss in the CAF Champions League qualifying matches as they enter the Super match.
Kotoko was defeated by RC Kadiogo on penalties, 3-1, last Sunday at the Baba Yara stadium.
“We are very disappointed in Kotoko for their exit in the CAF Champions League against Kadiogo,” Opare Addo added.
