Helen went to see David and they went to see a lawyer together. Dana had filed a counter argument over the annulment case, claiming that her marriage with David was fine. David asked the lawyer to help him annul the marriage but his main concern was Michael’s custody. Dana would not let David see Michael either. The lawyer said that the custody case would be difficult because the court always favors the mother.

Jia was not feeling well so she took a sick leave from work. Kai took her to get some tests after she fainted and called Adam. Adam went with Michael to visit Jia and check on how she was doing. He asked her and Kai not to worry since they would do everything to make sure Jia recovered. Jia played with Michael and taught him how to draw since he enjoyed it and didn’t get to do it with Dana.

Harry locked himself in the bathroom when he saw Michael. He felt guilty after seeing how close Jia was to Michael.

A client at Dragon Empire Builders decided to reschedule her project after finding out that Jia was not available. She said she would return once Jia was back from her sick leave. Lucy was annoyed about it and therefore took Amanda’s offer to be their new interior designer. They copied Jia’s work and presented it to a client.

David and Helen called Michael for a chat. Helen wanted to go out with him but Dana took Michael’s phone away and said Michael had to go to sleep. Michael was in tears when he went to sleep and Dana assured him that everything would be fine.

Harry called the nurse who took care of Michael when he was a child. He wanted her help to find Jia’s son but the nurse hangs up on him. Harry therefore went to see Lucy to demand that she return Jia’s son. He suspected that it was Michael but Lucy denied it. Harry said he would expose what they both did. Lucy dared him to do it since he did not have any evidence.

Jia’s results came back and they revealed she had blood poisoning from another infection. Adam told Lucy that he was going to check on Jia but she was upset because he would be seeing Kai. Adam said that he and Kai were just friends and were only united by their daughter. He went to have dinner with Jia and Kai. Adam was also worried to hear about Jia’s returning illness.

…. The truth about Michael’s paternity is about to be revealed and am sure Dana will raise hell.
