Manchester United kicked off today’s round of the English Premier League matches with an impressive 2-0 win over the relegation-threatened side Everton.
Scott McTominay broke the deadlock after firing past Jordan Pickford after he was fed with a brilliant pass from Jadon Sancho to make it 1-0 for the Red Devils.
Anthony Martial got the second for the home side after Marcus Rashford ran inside the penalty box to square the ball to the Frenchman to grab his eighth goal in 16 games against Everton.
Rashford walked straight off the pitch, limping as he really looked to be struggling with his groin. Manchester United fans wouldn’t have loved to see that with a huge month to come in three different competitions.
Manchester United moved to third position on the log with fourth-placed Newcastle United yet to play.
