MAX GPL 2023/24: Francis Antwi’s brace secures a comeback win for Legon Cities

At the El-Wak Stadium, Legon Cities began the 2023–24 Ghana Premier League season with a crucial victory over Karela United.

The Royals put on an incredible second performance to earn the three possible points on Sunday afternoon.

Kharim Ayeh gave Karela United the lead with a goal in the 45th minute, giving the visitors the advantage going into halftime.

Francis Antwi scored twice in a span of eight minutes to help his team pull off a comeback victory and was adjudged the “MVP”.
