Coach Ignatius Osei-Fosu seems to have turned things around for King Faisal after replacing coach Jimmy James Cobblah. Three wins and one draw in their last four games sends Alhaji Grusah’s boys tenth on the league log.
Mohammed Abubakar after just 11 minutes fired a swerving ball past Benjamin Asiedu Kwesi in King Faisal’s goal to give Dreams the lead at the Dr. Kwame Kyei Sports Complex.
King Faisal midfielder Yahaya Baba restored parity for the host in the 38th minute as both teams went into the break with a goal apiece.
It seemed the game was going to end in a draw but the Kumasi-based boys grabbed the match-winner thanks to Fatao Mohammed’s super strike one minute to full time to pick all points at stake at the expense of Dreams FC.
Dreams FC are now 16th on the table with 31 points and will have to play above themselves to escape the drop at the end of the season.
Nasiru Osman Ebla was adjudged the NASCO man of the match.
