MTN FA Cup: We created chances against Great Olympics but couldn’t score – Legon Cities coach

According to Maxwell Konadu, the head coach of Legon Cities, his team had opportunities to score against Accra Great Olympics but was unable to do so.

Legon Cities won the match against Accra Great Olympics on penalties, advancing to the MTN FA Cup’s next round.

Abdul Rahman had a chance to put Legon Cities ahead in the fifth minute but missed from close range. Legon Cities had a strong start to the game.

Both teams attempted to break the tie after the interval, but all of their attempts were unsuccessful.

In the 90+4th minute, the referee dismissed Dennis Wazorzi.

After a score of 0-0, the game was decided by penalties. The Legon Cities missed one while the Dade guys missed two while scoring three.

“It was a good game of two halves. We played well. We created some decent chances but couldn’t score any of them. It’s part of the game,” Maxwell Konadu said after the game.

Legon Cities is currently anticipating their upcoming opponent.
