Nsoatreman FC booked their place in the semi-final of the 2023–24 MTN FA Cup courtesy of an extra-time winner from Osei Bonsu.
Following a drab first forty-five minutes of the game, Nsoatreman and Karela United engaged in a much more adventurous game in the second half.
Former Hearts of Oak midfielder Manaf Umar had a goal that was disallowed by the center referee for being offside in the 66th minute of the game.
After both sides failed to break the deadlock in regular time, the game had to go into extra time in search of a winner.
Osei Bonsu capped off an excellent one-two combination with Sadat Mohammed to score the winning goal for Maxwell Konadu’s side, sending them to the semi-final.
