Philip Nii Kojo Sackey, the captain of the Great Olympics, is sure that his team will repeat their success over Hearts of Oak in game two of the 2022/2023 betPawa Premier League.
The Wonder Club started the 2022–23 season well with a 1-0 victory over Bechem United, due to a goal from Samuel Ashie Quaye in the 82nd minute that handed his team the victory. The Wonder Club defeated Hearts at the Accra Sports Stadium last year.
Contrarily, Hearts of Oak lost their opener game to Aduana Stars and will now look to bounce back as head coach Samuel Boadu faces mounting pressure.
“Last season I told them we were going to beat them and we did.”
After their 1-0 victory over Bechem United, Nii Kojo Sackey declared in a post-game press conference “Nothing will change from this season. We will win all three games, but I can’t estimate the final score.”
On Sunday at the Accra Sports stadium, Hearts of Oak will host Great Olympics in the Mantse derby.
