Real Tamale United declared winners of cross-protest against BA United

The GFA Disciplinary Committee has declared Real Tamale United (RTU) as winners of the Division One League Matchday 27 game between BA United and RTU at the Sunyani Coronation Park.

Decision:

BA United shall forfeit the match in accordance with article 33(1)(b) of the Division One League Regulations.

Three points and three goals are awarded to Real Tamale United, in accordance with article 33(2) and 34(12).

BA United shall lose three points from accumulated points pursuant to article 33(5).

BA United has been fined Two Thousand Five Hundred Ghana Cedis to be paid to the Ghana Football Association, of which Fifty Percent shall be to Real Tamale United in accordance with article 33(5)(b) of the Division One League Regulations.

Real Tamale United shall be Five Hundred Ghana Cedis as transportation expenses by BA United.

The fines are to be paid to the Ghana Football Association within fourteen days upon receipt of the verdict. A failure to honor those amount by BA United shall forfeit their subsequent matches after the said deadline.

What Next?

Real Tamale United after winning this case, moves to 62 points in Zone One, two points adrift of leaders Bofoakwa Tano heading into the last match of the season.

Bofoakwa Tano will play guest to Berekum Arsenal this weekend with Real Tamale United hosting Kenyasi based Unity FC.
