Tristan painstakingly turns to Senator Paglinauan, who hands him a bottle of cleaning spray he had left on his table. Tristan takes it and hurries out. He then heads into the storage room with Leo and the others where they take some photos of the place. Back home, Betty and Pina are worried sick when Apple hasn’t returned home yet and they’re unable to reach her on phone.
During the drive away from the senator’s office, Tristan receives a video of his sister being tortured somewhere. Malia and the other LLU members also see it too through the hidden camera. Tristan calls the sender of the video, who happens to be Nisha, Paglinauan’s assistant. Before hanging up, Nisha threatens to come for him after they’re done with his sister.
Tristan hurries home to learn of his sister’s disappearance. As he and his family fret over the situation and try going to her school to look for her, Apple suddenly shows up to put on an act. She rambles on about the so-called audition she had done for the theatre club, saying that her performance had been awesome. Her head being dunked into water and all. Naïve and kinda stupid at best.
Samantha parts ways with Prof T at the Moonchasers HQ, telling him that he knows where to find her should he need her. At Youtopia, Gilbert (Supremo) makes it clear to Jacinta that she would no longer be handling his campaign. Jacinta asks why he’s suddenly firing her from her job and Gilbert merely says that he’s done with her.
Jacinta takes offense at that. “I left a quiet life and a good job in Indonesia, because you insisted that I come work for you. Now you’re going to fire me and say you’re done with me?”
“That’s right,” Gilbert replies casually. ”You’ll be well compensated.”
“Just so you know, Mr. Imperial. This isn’t my loss.”
Toni (Malia) goes to see Tristan at home. When she fails again to convince him to back out of the mission, she charges him to tread carefully, saying that as partners, they need to defeat Supremo while ensuring each other’s safety. At the LLU base, Baristo scolds Gael and Lemuel when they start making fun of the situation. He reminds everyone that what they’re watching is a surveillance video and not a love story in a soap opera.
Tristan receives another mocking call from Nisha and he dares her to face him. As Nisha taunts him, Supremo reflects on his latest encounter with Jacinta. In a fit of rage, he goes on a random killing spree. Later that night, Malia and the other LLU members watch the surveillance video of Tristan being his impulsive self as ever. He walks a park in town and in no time, a bat connects with his head and knocks him out cold. The impact breaks the pin, and then the connection.
They carry Tristan and drag him into the office storage room – the very room the Moonchasers had taken photos of earlier. Senator Paglinauan sits comfortably as Tristan is restrained to a chair in front of him. The miserable old man then begins taunting him, saying that he could suffer the same punishment and end as Miyo. While the LLU set out in search of Tristan, Supremo closes in on his next target. He’s about to bite the poor defenseless woman when the woman in red suddenly shows up to whoosh her to safety.
Senator Paglinauan begins roughing up Tristan and tries to make him reveal the group he belongs to, its leader and backers. Tristan being Tristan refuses to talk and the miserable old man has his lapdogs beat him up some more. Even then, Tristan doesn’t budge and Paglinauan threatens to finish off his family while he watches. He sends his lapdogs to go get his grandparents and Tristan reveals that he wasn’t alone at the park.
“You weren’t?”
“I planned all this,” Tristan declares. “I have accomplices. Any minute now, they’re going to be here. So I think it’ll be best for you to let me go.”
Malia and the other LLU members hurry to the senator’s office. They show the guard on duty a video featuring the senator and Tristan and urge him to let them in. Turns out the secret camera that had been broken earlier had magically started working again. As expected, Paglinauan doesn’t take Tristan’s bait. Somewhere in a room, Prof T sits comfortably and reflects on his arguments with Samantha about Tristan.
The ever conceited senator admits to Tristan that everything he’s been accusing him of is true. He brings up how he had taken care of Miyo after he had meddle in his business, saying that the public now sees him as a hero. Tristan expresses his disgust over what he had done to Miyo’s family and Paglinauan states that he had to pay a price for his meddling.
“You’re nothing but evil!”
“So what?! You don’t mess around with people like me! You don’t know how powerful I really am. It is a shame that things will end for you here and you won’t get to meet Supremo.”
“Let me face him. Where is he?!”
Paglinauan gets in Tristan’s face and taunts him. “That’s a secret.”
While Malia and her comrades are on their way to save Tristan, Tristan breaks free of his restraints, overpowers the goons and makes a run for it. However, Paglinauan guns him down before he can escape. The miserable old man towers over him and taunts him some more.
“You will suffer the same fate as your friend Miyo.”
And with that, the miserable old man shoots Tristan again, point-blank in the chest. A moment later, the LLU slip into the room to find it deserted. They find the senator’s office empty as well and Lemuel shows Malia the video of how Paglinauan had shot Tristan. Malia is inconsolable as she laments over her failure to save him. Meanwhile, Paglinauan calls the evil vampire lord on phone. Where he is, turns out to be an identical but separate room from that of the LLU.
“It is done, Supremo. I just killed Tristan Toralba.”
‘At least you’ve finally done something right. Make sure they don’t trace it back to us.”
Senator Paglinauan turns to his goons and orders them to clean up the mess and not leave a trace. As Baristo consoles his daughter, Supremo discreetly surveys Jacinta’s house. He receives a phone call, telling him that the people he had asked to be contacted are on their way to Jacinta’s place. A moment later, a couple claiming to be Jacinta’s parents show up to talk to their daughter.
At the senator’s office, Lemuel suggests to Malia that they use the video that had been recorded against Senator Paglinauan. Baristo proposes that they come up with a better plan and be more cautious so things don’t turn out the way they did. Back at the Magsaysay residence, Jacinta reluctantly descends the stairs and her parents ask why she hadn’t told them that she had returned to the country. Jacinta casually asks who had told them about it.
Senator Paglinauan walks into a room to find his security guards tied up and passed out. Before he can really react, Prof T suddenly shows up and sprays something into his face, knocking him out. The goons from before dump his dead weight into a chair. A moment later, Tristan joins Prof T and stares down at the unconscious senator, smirking. The goons take off their masks, revealing themselves to be Moonchasers.
Flashback: Senator Paglinauan sends out his men to capture Tristan. Leo, Hanno and the other Moonchasers intercept and take them out on their way. They then proceed to ‘abduct’ Tristan, sporting the outfit of the senator’s goons. In the meantime, Prof T slips into Paglinauan’s car and sprays something into his face. Later in the office storage room, Prof T loads up a gun with blanks and compels Paglinauan to believe everything he says. He then wipes off his fingerprints from the gun and slips it into the senator’s hands.
“You were drunk…when you woke up, you were so happy, because everything went according to plan. That’s what you’ll remember.”
As the disguised Moonchasers proceed to beat up Tristan while the senator enjoys a drink, Leo reports back to Prof T, telling him that everything is going according to plan. Prof T is confident that with a little more time, Tristan will be able to make the senator admit to his crimes. Ultimately, the flashback concludes with Tristan recalling how Paglinauan had shot him ‘dead’ with the gun loaded with blanks – fake bullets, as some would say.
“Some die and miraculously rise again,” Tristan thinks to himself as he stares at the sleeping senator. “You may have been successful in silencing my friend Miyo. But with me, you won’t succeed.”
Jacinta asks her parents the identity of the person who had told them where she was. The couple evade the question and ask if she really doesn’t want to see them. Jacinta then tells them to leave her alone, saying that they know the reason why she had gone away. After making her intentions clear, she heads back to her room, compelling her parents to leave. Supremo spies on the couple as Jacinta cries inside.
Prof T watches the incriminating video of Senator Paglinauan with Tristan at Moonchasers HQ. He urges Tristan to lie low for the meantime for his own protection so their enemies would think that they had actually killed him. Meanwhile, Malia sadly reflects on her numerous encounters with Tristan. She beats herself up over being unable to save him and worries over how she would break the news to his family.
“At last, you were able to kill Tristan Toralba,” Prof T compels passed out Paglinauan. “And then you got rid of the body. You’re so happy and proud. When you wake up, you’re gonna be ecstatic. And you’re going to provide help to groups saving children in need. You’re going to donate a huge amount.”
Bill Mejia of M&L Strategist takes over Jacinta’s duties and urges Gilbert (Supremo) to join a party so he could win the people over, adding that he can’t run as an independent candidate anymore because he had fired Jacinta. Speaking of, Jacinta researches Gilbert’s mother and learns of the supposed suicide she had committed. Jacinta concludes that people don’t know that Gilbert was Maria’s child. Meanwhile, Malia arrives at the Toralba residence with Jake in tow. Painstakingly, she knocks on the door and is left staring at Betty once she opens up.
Betty gives Malia a confused look. “Tristan? You have a visitor. It’s Toni.”
Malia exchanges a look with Jake. She’s spellbound when she sees Tristan descending the stairs and approaching her.
