One of Ghana’s finest Entertainment veterans, Freddie Kyei Mensah, better known as Fredyma was on Max TV’s prime morning show, Max Morning and he emphasize the appalling situation of documenting our entertainment history.
We as a people have failed at it, we as an industry have failed!
Speaking on the importance of showbiz documentation, Fredyma stated that having our stories in a codified document is the way.
Sharing of our stories verbally gets the facts distorted by the day.
Also, he emphasized that we’re loosing some of the prominent figures within the entertainment space who have a wealth of knowledge that need to be collected and stored.
We have lost great talents like AB Crenstil, Papa Yankson and many other connoisseurs of the Ghanaian Entertainment and their stories aren’t properly recorded.
These information is needed by the next generation to get things right and also not be misled and brainwashed by foreign cultures.
