Manchester United’s brilliant youngster, Kobbie Mainoo, has been called up by Gareth Southgate for England’s upcoming international matches against Brazil and Belgium.
Mainoo, 18, of Ghanaian origins, was named in the under-21s squad but has been promoted to the senior side.
The United Academy graduate has been capped by England at the under-17, under-18, and under-19 levels.
The teenager has scored two goals for the Red Devils following his breakthrough into the first team.
His performances have seen the likes of seasoned midfielders like Christian Eriksen benched for a number of matches.
