Dr. Tony Aubynn, the head of the Black Galaxies management committee, has reaffirmed the team’s commitment to winning the CHAN in 2023.
It will be Ghana’s first time since 2014 when they are vying for the trophy.
The players from their home countries traveled to Algeria after spending 18 days camping in Egypt.
The team triumphed over Al Ahly and the U-20 team from Egypt.
In their last practices before the event, Annor Walker and his team will face Mozambique and Algeria.
Dr. Aubynn, in an interview, reaffirmed that the playing body is committed to winning the trophy.
“We are determined to win the trophy,” he said.
“This is the longest preparation the team has had and the players are determined to make themselves proud and make the country proud.
“We just have to stay focused and perform,” he added.
Ghana was placed in Group C with Sudan, Madagascar, and Morocco.
The competition is slated to begin on January 13 and end on February 3.
