The Ghanaian amputee team Black Challenge has advanced to the 2024 African Amputee Football Championship (AAFCON) knockout stages.
Brown Williams’ goal along with that of the game’s MVP, Hamza Mohammed, gave the team a 2-1 victory over Kenya.
In the tournament thus far, Coach Steve Obeng’s team has only given up one goal while putting eleven past their opponents.
On Thursday, May 23, 2024, they will take on Tanzania in the next round.
Samson Deen, President of the National Paralympic Committee, commended the Black Challenge’s success and urged them to keep their eyes on the main goal.
