After a run of poor performances, renowned sports journalist Dan Kweku Yeboah has shared his thoughts on the situation facing the Black Stars.
Former Normalization Committee communication director Mr. Yeboah claimed that the issues facing Ghanaian football would not be resolved even if the Ghana Football Association (GFA) fired coach Chris Hughton, as many Ghanaians have been demanding since Ghana’s humiliation at the hands of the Comoros.

“Sacking Chris Hughton will not solve the problem. The problem with Ghana football is with our league.
The national team suffers when the standards of our league are low. We build the national team with products from our league,” he said, in an interview on Max 89.7 FM.
The developments leading up to the 2023 AFCON in Ivory Coast in January will be interesting to watch.
