The Local Organizing Committee (LOC) of the 13th African Games, led by Dr. Kwaku Ofosu-Asare, coupled with the immense support of the government of Ghana, has seen the development of state-of-the art structures for the games to be hosted in Accra.
Nearly 5,000 athletes from 44 countries are expected to touchdown in Accra for the Games scheduled to commence on March 8.

The newly constructed Borteyman Sports Complex will facilitate the various sporting disciplines: handball, weightlifting, badminton, basketball, volleyball, table tennis, fencing, tennis, karate, judo, taekwando, MMA, wrestling, swimming, and triathlon.
Ghana’s premiere university’s stadium will host football, athletics, 3×3 basketball, rugby, arm wrestling, squash, and rugby.
Accra Sports Stadium will also host football, while the Bukom Boxing Arena will host boxing, judo, karate, taekwando, and mixed martial arts.
