Elmer and Alex had an argument because Alex was now a soldier. Minda heard them and talked to Dante because she felt that she favored one over the other. Dante told her it was not her fault and he would talk to them. Dante told Elmer and Dante not to make Minda feel like she was a bad mother because of their arguments. They both agreed to stop.
When Abe was at home, he told his mother that he hoped his father was proud of him. Since he is a muslim, he hoped that he would be able to reconcile his community and end the fighting amicably. His uncle however told him that the military was their enemy because they had killed his father. Abe asked his uncle if he was an enemy too now that he had become a soldier.
Striker also lived with his uncle, who was now his mother’s partner. His business was not doing well hence why Striker had to work to earn money for them. His mother felt apologetic towards Striker because he was the one who took care of them.
Alex’s team received their first assignment and reported back to camp. They were briefed by Gen. Victor about catching Abdul Waajid.(*Note: Saal goes by the Alias name Abdul Waajid so the military do not know his real name). Victor was glad to have Alex with them because they could use his IT expertise.
Victor had retrieved the stuff from the ambush by Saal and noticed that Alex’s phone was missing. They tried to call it and it rang. Amir, the young boy Saal was training had found it and turned it on. Saal told him to put the phone away because it could be used to track their location. Amir however kept the phone with it and used it to play games.
The governor supplying Saal with weapons called to ask that they kill his opponent. Saal however told him that they were not hired killers and they were fighting for a bigger cause. The governor admired Saal’s principles and agreed to speak with him for further negotiations as they work together. Saal asked everyone to prepare so that they could leave to meet the governor.
Victor told Alex to track his phone to find Abdul Waajid. He was not able to do it because the phone did not have a signal. Alex stayed overnight tracking the phone but couldn’t get anything. Victor therefore decided to let the team do a manual search because they had narrowed down Abdul Waajid’s location to somewhere Medina.
Alex finally got a signal from his phone in the morning. Saal and his men left to meet the governor and since Amir was still using the phone to play games, Alex was able to track it. He reported to the general and they moved out to get Saal.
