Ghana’s Parliament Speaker, Hon. Alban Bagbin, has tasked Ghana’s football administrators with restoring Ghana’s standing and influence in the world of football.
At the current 2023 Africa Cup of Nations in Ivory Coast, the Black Stars of Ghana had a terrible experience after losing to Cape Verde and drawing 2-2 with both Egypt and Mozambique, sending Ghana out of the tournament.

Following the nation’s immense outcry over Ghana’s performance, well-known state officials spoke out and offered suggestions for how to strengthen the Black Stars.
“They must therefore endeavour to rise from the ashes of these setbacks and demonstrate to the world the true power of Ghana’s football,” said Hon. Alban Bagbin.
The Ghana Football Association showed their commitment to regaining the nation’s illustrious reputation in sports by forming a committee to find a new coach for the Black Stars.
