Homer takes his equally miserable buddies on a joyride through town and as fate will have it, they come upon a police checkpoint. Initially, theyβre hesitant to pass through, but when they do, they easily get away thanks to the lousy job of the officers. At the Bloody Sun hideout, Romulo and his comrades deliberate on Cardoβs meet up with his police friends, hoping that his plans work out for him. In no time, our favorite hero returns in one piece and informs the commander and the others about everything.
βDid they believe you?β Anton asks.
βThey did,β Cardo declares. βCause my friends know me well. They know that I would never plan terrorist attacks, because I could never injure or kill innocent people.β
βI admire your friends in the police force. Theyβre putting their principles and positions on the line in order to help us.β
βWe have to keep moving to find Homerβs group. We canβt just sit here and wait it out.β
While Homerβs miserable gang make mockery of the ineffective, useless police checkpoints in town, Cardo broods over his meet up with his police friends and prays for guidance and protection to expose the truth. Meanwhile, some random amateur policemen bother Grandma Flora and her family on account of the bullshit report of Captain Gina.
Billy, Jerome and the other officers deliberate on their meet up with our favorite hero and decide to look up for the records of Homer in order to determine who has been protecting him. At the NDA, the despicable director Hipolito goes live on air and rambles on about his lame-ass plan to catch Romuloβs group in order to ensure the βsafetyβ of everyone. Grandma Flora and her family watch on TV as the slimy scoundrel continues to bitch nonstop.
Senator De Silva is quiet displeased to see his rival in the elections taking over the news again. Alvaro makes a suggestion that doesnβt sit well with him, and the senator lashes out at him. While Don Emilio has a talk with Abdon about the senator, Billy informs General Borja about their meet up with Cardo as well as what they had learned from him.
βDalisay is yet to identify the government official whoβs been helping out their group.β
βThatβs the reason why we need to catch Homer Adlawan alive,β Delfin states. βHeβs the only one who can lead us to their protector. Iβm very grateful you and Cardoβs friends are teaming up to help him out. But you have to be careful. Our enemies are extremely dangerous.β
Regine prepares a dish in the kitchen, but ends up distracted thinking about the time she had tried to βmurderβ our favorite hero with the super chili soup made from hell. The fish she had been frying ends up burning as Dulce comes upon the scene and quickly does damage control. At camp Crame, Delfin talks on phone with Diana about what Billy and his comrades had learned from Cardo, stating that Homerβs group were the ones responsible for all the bombings in Metro Manila.
βIncluding the bombing which killed Cardoβs son.β
βAnd my son too,β Diana chimes in.
Homerβs miserable gang get their miserable bombs ready for the job the despicable director Hipolito had contracted them to do. Meanwhile, De Silva continues bitching over how Hipolito has been outshining him on account of his hunt for the terrorists. He begins harboring the thought of deploying his own men to hunt down Cardo and the Bloody Sun.
Cardo reaches out to Jerome
Cardo walks somewhere in town with the Bloody Sun and they suddenly run into Bruno and Bert. They tell them of how Regine and Dulce have grown remorseful over betraying them to the police. They then ask them to return home with them. However, Romulo and Cardo turn down their offer, saying that they want to keep their family safe and not drag them into their problems. Bert then expresses his appreciation to our favorite hero for having had them bailed out of prison.
Bruno and Bert return home to inform their family of their encounter with Cardo and the rebels. Regine is determined to find them and make it up to Cardo but Bruno talks her out of it, saying that they have to respect the decision they had made. While Homerβs gang is en route to their target location, Earthworm and Tadpole urge the commander to take up the offer of the Morenos for the sake of their safety and free food.
βWe canβt go back and stay with them,β Cardo declares. βIf we accept their offer, theyβll be in danger. The people searching for us are not gonna stop.β
βI agree with Cardo,β Romulo seconds. βWe owe peace and safety to Ratβs family and the people in their area.β
While De Silvaβs lapdogs spy on the Morenos, Cardo talks on phone with Jerome and asks him to pay his family a visit in his stead in order to dissolve their worries of him. Earthworm urges Happy to head back home since so many people are after their heads. Happy however mentions that he has no family left. Tadpole brings up how Happy always helps them to get some food and Earthworm thanks him, saying that heβs a lifesaver.
βWhy is your name βHappyβ?β
βBecause of my nice smile.β Happy smiles, revealing sets of dirty teeth that is sure to make the Guinness book of records.
Billy and Chikoy update General Borja on their investigation into Homerβs past criminal life as well as his involvement in the bombings in Manila. At the Dalisays, the family reflect on how Jerome and Soriano had dropped by earlier to check up on them. Yolly mentions that despite the mountain of challenges Cardo has gone through, heβs been blessed with true friends who never abandon him in times of need. Grandma Flora canβt help but to agree more.
After Chikoy is done planting a tracking device on Catindigβs car, Billy calls General Borja to update him on the situation. Delfin is confident that they would finally discover the secrets the slimy scoundrel has been hiding. Speaking of, Catindig sits at a bar, brooding over how he suspects that General Borja and Oligario are onto him. The traitorous snake recalls how he had gone thorough Dianaβs files in her absence, as well as his recent encounter with Delfin.
βYou suspect that I am the major of those ex-military men. Itβs a really good thing theyβre all dead now. You wonβt find anything that would prove your suspicion.β
General Oligario calls Jerome on phone, saying that General Borja has mentioned to her that heβs been in contact with Ricardo Dalisay. Jerome confirms this and staring at the facial composite of Homer Adlawan, Diana states that she needs to show him something. At the Bloody Sun hideout, the rebels share a meal prepared by Happy, hoping that they all get to see their families again once all their troubles is over.
βI have no one,β Romulo laments. βI just want to avenge my family. After that, I donβt know where to go.β
βOnce this is over, commander,β Anton begins. βWeβll be able to make things right again and move on with our lives.β
βWe all lost someone,β Cardo chimes in. βI lost my child and got separated from my family. As well as my friends. I also lost the job I worked hard to earn. But weβll get through this challenge. Commander, you still have a family. Our comrades we left behind, theyβre your family too.β
Homerβs miserable gang effortlessly plant the bombs at the crowded plaza in Manila. They inform their miserable puppet master who states that he would meet them at the hideout. Homer urges him to come along with their payment, saying that thereβs something important he wants to spend it on. Hipolito however remarks that he would give them the money some other time because he has something important to take care of.
βMaybe you should stop bugging Vulture,β Pilo says to the Scorpion after he gets off the phone. βWhat if you end up pissing him off?β
βAt the rate heβs going, he might piss me off first,β Homer bitches.
The episode concludes as the bombs planted in the plaza continues counting down.
